Write for Rights Lesson Plan – Freedom of Expression, Fake News and Satire

The activity examines the right to freedom of expression in the context of satirical news, and relate it to the participants life, using the real story of Temirlan Ensebek. Participants will Understand the freedom of expression and its importance in the context of political satire and fake news; Feel empathy with those whose right to freedom of expression has been violated; Know about Amnesty International’s Write for Rights campaign; Write a letter in support of Temirlan Ensebek.
