Past Projects

HREA’s director developed a Handbook on the Human Rights-Based Approach to Higher Education for the Raoul Wallenberg Institute (RWI), for use by RWI staff and partners.

HREA’s director worked with UNESCO’s Associated Schools Project Network (2021) in developing (and delivering) an online course for African teachers on Global Citizenship Education.

HREA collaborated with The Danish Institute for Human Rights (2021) in preparing the publication Guide on Human Rights Education Curriculum Development. Furthering SDG Target 4.7 in Primary and Secondary Schools. 

Between 2018 and 2020, HREA’s director worked with the OSCE/ODIHR in implementing a human rights education curriculum development & training project with the Belarusian Ministry of Education.

HREA collaborated with Generation Human Rights (2019) in developing a curriculum for middle and high school/secondary school students The unMASKing Pandemic Curriculum Project: Exploring the Impact, Sharing the Experience.
