The purpose of this toolkit is to educate those conducting evaluation and monitoring of Amnesty International’s human rights education programming. It provides a succinct overview of HRE work at Amnesty International and definitions and principles for effective evaluation and monitoring before moving on to how to incorporate evaluation and monitoring into a plan for HRE. Next, the toolkit provides examples of HRE activities currently underway at Amnesty International and what kinds of evaluative and monitoring tools could be best fit for those activities.
