As part of a comprehensive educational package, this booklet is a reference material for training of teachers to help prevent and respond to school-related gender-based violence by reinforcing teaching practices and attitudes that promote a safe learning environment for all students. This reference booklet is a supplement to the training manual. It outlines reflection sessions for teachers on learning topics of the training program: understanding and developing proper attitudes towards young people; gender issues and school-related gender-based violence; human rights and the rights of the child; creating a safe and supportive classroom environment; response – support for young people; referral and reporting; and how to develop an action plan in school.
