As part of a comprehensive educational package, the Student Training Manual was designed for teachers or facilitators working directly with students to improve their resilience and self-efficacy to respond to school-related gender-based violence. Through approximately 50 hours of active training, students are enhanced with knowledge, attitudes and skills on healthy relationships, reproductive health issues, HIV prevention, and children’s rights and responsibilities. The manual guides the facilitators to organise activities with students to help them practice and improve skills for effective interpersonal communication, coping, conflict management, critical and creative thinking and decision-making to prevent and respond to school-related gender-based violence.
