In this unit, students will learn about Harriet Tubman. Through an adapted story, story board, song, and movement, they will understand who she was, what she experienced, and why, focusing on “wh” questions. And through various locomotor and non-locomotor movements, students will explore what it may feel like to escape from slavery, as Harriet Tubman did.
