The authors of this report argue that in order to ensure that international human rights instruments for refugees are effectively implemented, it is necessary to promote public awareness of these mechanisms. Specifically, this report focuses on strategies for human rights education at the university level. It outlines a conceptual framework for providing instruction to students in related subject areas (law, political science, international relations) as well as to those in non-related subject areas as part of general university education.
