This short film can also be used as a teaching tool to introduce core topics of human rights education and initiate a classroom discussion. It aims to raise awareness on key issues related to human rights in schools around the world. Secondary school pupils from UNESCO Associated Schools in ten countries are asked to reflect and express their opinion about issues such as gender, diversity, violence, exclusion and participation. The film invites viewers to internalise, at an individual level, the issue of human rights education and the way in which these concepts and ideals are understood and lived by young people.
