This guide is designed to help journalists better understand court proceedings. It provides an extensive interpretation of criminal procedure in the Croatian judicial system (from investigation to appeal process). The guide explains judicial terminology and procedures in detail, giving examples of applications and guidelines for reporting criminal cases in a proceeding. The guide also compiles common mistakes journalists make in reporting criminal cases and suggests how to report these cases in accordance with the rule of law.
