This manual is aimed at starting a dialogue in urban and rural communities about economic, social and cultural rights as human rights; the human right to development, to freshwater, to education, to a job, to health care, to a home. The manual accompanies a training course that has been conducted at people’s organizations and community assemblies as an entry point in organizing urban poor communities in urban Manila.
