Handbook on Monitoring and Reporting Homophobic and Transphobic Incidents

This handbook is designed for human rights organisations intending to monitor the occurrence of homophobic and transphobic incidents and violence in order to advocate for legislative changes to increase legal protections against violence motivated by hatred towards lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. The handbook presents the human rights standards to be used as benchmarks or reference points and proposes a methodology to document and record occurrences of homophobic and transphobic violence.
