From the Outside Looking In: Changing New York City’s Education through the Human Rights Approach

This report by the former UN Special Rapporteur on the right to education analyses violations of this right in the New York City school system. It evaluates how employing the human rights approach could solve these problems and focuses in particular on issues of inequality, the rights of the child, and compulsory education.
