This booklet from Disabled Peoples’ International is intended to educate the general public about the challenges faced by people with physical and mental disabilities, as well as provide advice for allies on how to best support those individuals. It focuses on the lives of people with disabilities living in the Caribbean and outlines helpful institutions and services available to these individuals in each country. It also offers advocacy strategies for lobbying country governments to ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
