This manual is designed for relief and development workers who wish to apply a human rights-based approach to their work. It includes a facilitator’s guidebook and a participants’ workbook for a one-day workshop that may be run by anyone with basic facilitation skills. No prior working experience in human rights or rights-based programming is required. The manual may also be used as a tool to stimulate new thinking and approaches for workers with experience in these areas.
