Dr. Felisa Tibbitts, a leading HRE expert, is UNESCO Chair in Human Rights and Higher Education and Chair in Human Rights Education at the Human Rights Centre of Utrecht University (Netherlands). She is also a Visiting Professor at Nelson Mandela University (South Africa) and director of Human Rights Education Associates (HREA), which she co-founded in 1996. Felisa has taught courses in curriculum development, HRBA-centered programming and M&E at HREA and Columbia University.
